TRAVEL ADVISORY: There are no direct flights into Samaná; you must fly into Santo Domingo. Therefore, we advise you to purchase transfers to ensure a comfortable transfer to your resort. The ride from the airport takes approx. 3 hours (150 miles). When booking your flights please consider the 3 hours ride to and from your hotel.
 Located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, Samaná is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the Dominican Republic, yet remains one of the least known and has not yet exploited the full potential of its location. The entire peninsula offers breathtaking views with thick palm forests, unspoiled white sand beaches, and clear turquoise waters. Its middle is made up of high mountain passes, lush tropical forests, and a number of waterfalls. This is one of the breeding places of the humpback whale that can be seen to the coast off Samaná from January to March.
