Balatonalmadi
Situated in the north-eastern point of Lake Balaton, Balatonalmádi is a picturesque holiday resort. Take a walk in the streets of Vörösberény and feel the atmosphere of this thousand-year old village of the Balaton Uplands. The oldest monument of the town - the reformed fortress church of Vörösberény, built in the 11th-12th centuries in Romanesque style but also with characteristics of the Gothic style as well, is a must see. Balatonfured
Balatonfüred is considered to be the capital of the Northern lake shore. The town has two marinas, a string of carbonated mineral water springs, beautiful buildings from the middle of the 18th and the 19th centuries and fine restaurants. Come here to enjoy the mild micro-climate, beautiful scenery, the local wine, made of Olaszrizling grapes, the sailing and swimming facilities, as well as to revive the two-century-old tradition of socializing around spas, bathing and vacationing. Take a walk through the park, which is more than a hundred years old, and along the Tagore path beside the lake and admire one of the most beautiful harbors on Lake Balaton.

Heviz
The green heart of Hévíz, the 4.4-ha lake is the world's biggest warm-water lake where bathing is possible. The wide choice of wellness services, the Mediterranean sub climate, the atmosphere and the fascinating beauty of the Pannonian landscape will make your visit unforgettable. The ruins of one of the most significant settlement of the Roman Empire, which was inhabited for almost four centuries, from the first half of the 1st century to the beginning of the 5th century, are hidden under the ground in the Egregy district. Keszthely
Keszthely is the oldest town around Lake Balaton. The main attraction of the town is represented by the magnificent Baroque Festetics Castle. Its park and rooms host important concerts, music master classes in the summer months. The park, an example of English landscape gardening, contains many rare plants and flowers. The Balaton Museum is another sight, its display cases depicting the formation of the lake, its flora and fauna, archaeological discoveries. The Roman Catholic Church dating back from the Middle Ages is a must see. Its frescoes are considered to be among the finest works of Hungarian Gothic.

Siofok
Siofok is one of the busiest tourist centers on Lake Balaton and also one of the richest municipalities of Hungary. It has several beaches and a scenic port. On the Northern part stands the statue of Vilt Tibor, named Mermaid of Lake Balaton. In the centre of Siófok on the Szabadság square the 45 m high Water tower (the symbol of the town) rises. Don't miss the Fogas baroque building, which is considered to be one of the most valuable architectural heritages of Siofok. The everlasting works of Imre Kálmán, the famous son of this town, can be listened in the Cultural Centre

Zalakaros
Zalakaros is an 800 years old town that became famous 35 years ago for its discovered thermal water. This healing water contains sulphur hydrogen, brome, hydrogen carbon and iodine.
