| Siofok is one of the busiest tourist centers on Lake Balaton and also one of the richest municipalities of Hungary. It has several beaches and a scenic port. On the Northern part stands the statue of Vilt Tibor, named Mermaid of Lake Balaton. In the centre of Siófok on the Szabadság square the 45 m high Water tower (the symbol of the town) rises. Don't miss the Fogas baroque building, which is considered to be one of the most valuable architectural heritages of Siofok. The everlasting works of Imre Kálmán, the famous son of this town, can be listened in the Cultural Centre |
