Delft Located halfway between Rotterdam and The Hague, Deft is a charming university town. The city is famous for the Delft pottery ceramic products which were styled on the imported Chinese porcelain of the 17th century. The center of the town is typical Dutch with beautiful canals. The Wijnhaven is a nice canal, the Prinsenhof (nowadays a museum, but in history the place where Willem of Orange lived and is murdered), the Oude Kerk (Old Church) and "het Legermuseum" (the Royal Weapon Museum). Don't miss the Gemeenlandshuis, a very impressive early 16th century building. | Book this City | Leiden - Airport City Located on the Old Rhine, close to the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Haarlem, Leiden is a lively university town.
