Stockholm, Sweden
Stockholm is a vibrant place, one of the world?s most beautiful capitals. Stockholm offers a wealth of museums, theatres, sights, attractions and events, whether your interest lies in history, art, opera, modern dance, traditional handicraft, contemporary design or virtually anything else. A monarchy for 1,000 years, a cultivated capital since the 13th century, a pop and rock city, a design Mecca, the Baroque period at Drottningholm, light-colored furniture and IT development. If you?re after culture Stockholm is the place to be. Stockholm has over 75 museums offering exciting experiences. The unique and spectacular Vasa Museum is where the hull of the 17th century ship rescued from the seabed rests majestic and ready for action. The Royal Palace houses a number of excellent small museums. The X2000
A high-speed train with special carriages that tilt in the bends (tilting train), thus enabling trains to maintain speed in bends. Swedish trains travel at speeds of up to 200 km/h (125 mph) in service on all major routes.

On board services:
All Swedish trains are non-smoking. The Bar Car offers all customers in 1st and 2nd class, hot and cold dishes, sandwiches, beer, wine, coffee and cakes. There is also a gift shop offering chocolate, games, perfumes etc, pay phone and telephone-free area. On all major routes, the X2000 has a special coach, which has a built-in wheelchair lift and space for a wheelchair.
