| Caernarfon is a royal town in north-west Wales. The town is famous for its impressive stone castle, built by Edward I of England. Its walls were patterned after the fortifications surrounding ancient Byzantium. Caernarfon is also home to the regimental museum of the Royal Welch Fusiliers. It has a small harbour and a blue flag beach at Victoria Harbour. Caernarfon caters to the visitors with craft shops, fine restaurants, a fun centre, a golf course and indoor swimming and sports facilities at the leisure centre. |
