This beautiful hotel was originally built as a family hotel 25 years ago, in the grand colonial style. Starting in 1999 it was converted to a hotel, which still holds the same style and charm as the colonial home. The hotel is close to the railway station, and is still run by the descendants of the original owners. Inside the house, guests will be in awe of the beautiful antique furniture, the beautiful library and the cellar, in which regional meals and wine tasting are held. The hotel is rather simple, with only 10 rooms, however guests will still find modern conveniences at hand, such as fax machine and Internet access. The other facilities include parking, laundry and dry cleaning service, room service, an outdoor swimming pool and absolutely gorgeous and large gardens.

El Lagar offers only ten rooms, all of which are deluxe. The rooms have the same distinctive colonial charm as the rest of the hotel, with beautiful décor and antique furniture. The rooms are luxurious and have all the facilities needed to make any guests stay comfortable and pleasing. The amenities included in each room include cable TV, air conditioning, telephone, work area, safe box and mini bar. All rooms have a large private bathroom, with all the modern updates.
