The archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, located about 200 miles from the Brazilian shore, is a National Park that comprises 21 islands. This archipelago offers the cleanest waters of Brazil being considered one of the best world dive points, with visibility of approximately 100 meters. The island has many unspoiled beaches and interesting wildlife. The "Dolphins Bay" is a lookout point to watch the spinner dolphins in the bay.

| This is a diving destination, crystal clear waters with a 40m visibility and a rich marine make it heaven for underwater sports lovers. In 1988 it was declared a marine national park in order to protect its natural treasures. There are a few rustic posuadas. This is a very laid back island, and many of the modern conveniences are almost non-existent, and if you find them they are very expensive. Booking a hotel at Fernando de Noronha is complicated, the good pousadas are few and prices can change very frequently therefore the rates are NOT GUARANTEED, prices must be reconfirmed upon final payment.

| Snorkeling is best at Bahia dos Porcos; Ponta das Caracas; Bahia de Sueste; and Atalaia, where there is a large pool at low tide, Divers Ilha Rata; Morro de Fora; Rasuretas; and Ponta da Sapata.

| Solar dos Ventos: A very expensive pousada. The best in Fernando de Noronha, this is the only pousada that offers an English speaking guide. This pousuada has only 7 rooms.
Pousada Dolfin: The second best pousada. It is very simple, offers air-conditioning.
