Highlights:

Located a few miles outside of town on the highway. We recommend the deluxe cottages, which are bigger and have a/c. This is a good option for someone who wants to be outside of town but doesn?t want to spend a lot of money. There is a hiking trail in the back of the property for those that want to get into the jungle.

General Facility Description

Located just west of San Ignacio, Windy Hill is situated perfectly for exploring surrounding areas, including National Parks, the Belizean rainforest, and the many fine Mayan ruins nearby.

The Cottages at Windy Hill rest on a hillside that commands a view of the Macal and Belize river valleys and has the jungle at its backdoor. This resort offers the finest in Belizean hospitality and provides all of the modern day conveniences in a lush tropical setting. Enjoy your day trekking around the ruins, canoeing, horseback riding or hiking through the rainforest. Then spend your evening in the dining room where you will be served the finest home-cooked Belizean dishes, complete with delicious soups and desserts.
