The lodge is a 20 minute walk from Maya archaeological site of Lamanai, with beautiful natural surroundings, good food. The cabanas are rustic, cozy and well suited for the jungle, very nice and clean, with panoramic views to the lagoon. Great for bird watching. Perched on a hillside overlooking the crystal waters of the New River Lagoon.

Lamanai Outpost Lodge provides a jungle experience unlike any other. The Outpost is one of Belize`s special places where adventure, education, and leisure come together in a magical blend. You can visit the ancient mayan temples, take a nature walk, canoe or kayak on the lagoon, river trips and birding tours by boat or on foot. Lamanai is one of the best birding locations in Belize, the lodge is a midst of five distinct habitats, which is the home to over 300 species. You can also visit Bushy`s Place the open-air restaurant and bar at the lodge with panoramic views of the lagoon and jungle. Also featured at the lodge are a library and a lounge for you to relax and enjoy your book.
