General Facility Description

Praia do Forte is the first Eco-Resort of Brazil on the east coast of the state of Bahia. It is a paradise of tranquility, nature and ecology surrounded by 12 km of virgin beaches, multicolored coconut palms without ends, reefs, natural swimming pools with crystalline waters, rivers, rapids, lagoons and relics of the Brazilian Colony.

The resort features 4 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, 3 bars and four tennis courts. The area occupies an area of 250 thousand square meters surrounded by five ecological preservation areas. The Praia do Forte Resort is a two story building made with rustic wood and bamboo which combine with the 200 rooms to make this property what it is.

MODIFIED AMERICAN PLAN INCLUDED (breakfast and one meal)

TOURIST VISA REQUIRED FOR U.S. CITIZENS VISITING BRAZIL. VISAS MUST BE OBTAINED IN ADVANCED FROM THE BRAZILIAN CONSULATE.

The hotel will be renovating the convention center from July 15 to November 30, 2008. During this period, conferences will be held in a newly built room located close to the entrance of the hotel, and the other services will continue to be offered normally, without any interference in the other daily activities. .

There are 250 rooms at the resort including Standard and Deluxe. All the rooms feature either 1 King sized bed, a Double bed or two Twin sized beds, private bathroom, air conditioning, mini-bar, safety deposit box, television, telephone, hair dryer, internet access and a balcony with views of the Ocean.

Standard Room - Garden View
The Standard Rooms are located on the ground floor or the first floor, from 200 meters away from the pool area, bars and restaurants. Total area of the standard room is 38 square meters. Connecting rooms are located on the ground floor.

Standard Plus
Located in the more tranquil south wing, 400 meters from the social areas. Standard Plus Rooms are for a maximum of 2 adults. Total area is 38 square meters.

Master Plus
Locatd near the Thalasso Spa (north wing) with one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Tatuapara Bay, Master Plus rooms have two queen size beds and high-speed Internet access. Total area is 55 square meters.

Deluxe
The spacious suites are on the firs floor and offers a superb view of the sea. Each has a total area of 76 square meters and consist of a room with a king-size bed a living room and a L-shaped veranda with an open air jacuzzi.
