General Facility Description

Located in an old restored sobrado(two story house) where its architectural style and the preservation of original materials, including stonewalls, wooden furniture and many wooden details stand out. Some of the woods come from species now extinct. The Pousada is located in the historical center next to the Santa Rita Church, with panoramically view of the bay of Paraty and the Bocaina Mountains. This is the perfect place for those who come to Paraty looking to unite with nature.
The Pousada have terraces with hammocks and fabulous views. Collection of classical music. A pub with imported drinks and sugar cane brandies from the area. Winter garden with swimming pool. Art gallery with permanent exhibition. The pousada staff speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian. Minibar in the hall of the rooms. Swimmimg Pool, parking lot, art gallery. All guests get a pair of handmade slippers to circulate comfortably in the lodging Urquijo.

TOURIST VISA REQUIRED FOR U.S. CITIZENS VISITING BRAZIL. VISAS MUST BE OBTAINED IN ADVANCED FROM THE BRAZILIAN CONSULATE.

The Pousada has six apartments, each one with a special differentiated decoration. All rooms are equipped with TV, air conditioned, safe box and minibar in the hall. All the suites has nice view to the sea or mountain.
