The Sheraton International Iguazú Resort is located within the National Park Iguazú. This is the only hotel in the area offering incredible views of the waterfalls from guest rooms, lobby and restaurants. The waterfalls are almost one extension of the garden of the hotel; a walk of just 300 meters puts you right at the first jumps. An extensive trail system allows guests to get a closer look. The rumor of waters falling plus the opportunity to observe the return of the birds at dusk, while savoring a drink, does not have comparison. The hotel was taken over by Sheraton in 1999 and totally refurbished. There are two bars, coffee shop, two restaurants, and outdoor pool with poolside snack bar, fitness center-health club, boutiques and newsstand.

The hotel offers 176 guest rooms and 4 suites. Each room reflects modern architecture and is equipped with private veranda, some with view to the falls, others to the rainforest. All rooms have air-conditioning, private bath, hairdryer and telephone. Some rooms have mini-bar and television.
