The most famous and largest lodge in the Brazilian Amazon. Ariau is a 'five star hotel' in the middle of the jungle. General Facility Description
Ariau Amazon Towers is the first tree top lodge in the entire Amazon region. The Towers are located 60 Km west of Manaus, at the source of the Anavilhanas Archipelago - the biggest sweet water archipelago of the world. Inaugurated in 1987, it is constructed of regional hardwood and is built on stilts so that the canopy of the rainforest surrounds guests where the beauty of the forest is best experienced. Ariau is a 'five star hotel' in the middle of the jungle. There are 7 towers linked by long and high cathwalks (all about 30 feet high, at the canopy level) for the Resort. Although it is located in the deep forest, Ariau provides you with all the facilities you deserve to make your stay even more delightful.
Among the facilities of the hotel there are: 3 extraordinary canopy level fresh swimming pools.The 2 highest wood observation towers in the world (41 meters height) giving you the spectacular 360 horizon view of immense Amazon. A fantastic auditorium with capacity for 600 people, fully equipped with state of the art audio-visual and telecommunications systems. An ample amphitheatre (180 people) for all types of events such as musical and dance presentations, festivals, trade shows, etc.'Cupuacu','Tucunare', 'Jaraqui' are some of the exotic local dishes served at the 2 gourmet restaurants.
