General Facility Description

Shawandha Lodge was designed like an old ?Pueblo? in harmony with nature, located on the Southern Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. It is in the middle of giant trees of Ceiba and tropical flowers of endless colors offering a very particular feel with the fresh smelling wooden bungalows, terraces and nicely decorated bathrooms featuring art work of the French artist Filou Pascal. With many tropical sounds surrounding the property you can spend your nights sitting comfortably on a sofa watching the hummingbirds sipping on the red flowers or observe the beautiful exotic birds, playful animals and smiling, colorful people. At the lodges restaurant you will be transported to France and to the ?Savoir-Faire? of the French traditional cooking prepared by the ?Iron Chef?. So you can sit back, relax and enjoy a superb French cuisine with a Caribbean touch.
