The Mariana Chapel is a charming little chapel inspired by the original chapel of La Sixtina de La Maiolica Chapel, built in the 17th Century in Italy. The ceiling represents the story of the Virgin Mary as depicted by local cultures who first introduced and adapted their religion to the local inhabitants. The Mariana Chapel was built in 1997 to commemorate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of President Rodrigo and First Lady Estrella Carazo. The lyrics are painted on a ceramic fresco located on the North side of the chapel altar. Each of the 18 handmade Cedar benches was crafted by local artisans. Up to 75 guests can share a unique wedding ceremony or enjoy the unique venue for a cultural event under perhaps the most unique ceramic ceiling in Costa Rica.

The hotel also counts with a Multi-media Theater and Conference Center a one-of-a- kind!This comfortable air-conditioned 34 seat (17 custom sofa couches) private theatre is the ultimate audio-visual experience.
