The most adventurous area of Costa Rica, the Osa Peninsula extends into the bright blue Pacific ocean in the southwestern part of the country. Most of the peninsula is taken up by Corcovado National Park and its beaches have a wild beauty. Off shore, large reefs provide home to a myriad of colorful fish and other marine life. Snorkeling, diving, and treks in the jungle are all very popular activities in the area.
