General Facility Description

.This hotel was built in 1993 in a neoclassical Victorian style house, which had been declared a "National Landmark". Beautiful wallpaper, fine rugs, mosaic tile floors, ceiling fans, high ceilings, original walls made of thick brick, arches, stained glass windows and English-style furniture, all help to create the unique and warm Victorian atmosphere of this charming property, contrasting sharply with the tropical flower gardens.

The Britannia Hotel is divided into two parts; one is the old house which houses five Deluxe Rooms and five Jr. Suites, as well as the restaurant which occupies what was once the old wine cellar of the house, appropriately named "The Cellar". The new part of the hotel consists of a four-story addition housing 14 standard rooms.
