The Hotel Patio Andaluz, located in the heart of historic 'Quito Antiguo' and surrounded by churches, museums and national monuments, was declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO in 1978. ***Please note that The Municipal Council of the City of Quito has created a Fund for the Promotion and Tour Development of the Metropolitan District of Quito, and for this it has implemented a new Municipal Tax for Tour Services to be paid through the hotels of the city of Quito.The amounts to be paid are US$ 2.00 per room, per night at De Luxe Hotels and US$ 1.00 per room, per night at First Class Hotels.This amount will be charged directly to passengers upon check-out at the hotel.***

General Facility Description

The Hotel is an official National Treasure and holds centuries of history within its walls. It was part of the original Solaris (original building sites) that constituted the City of San Francisco of Quito at the time of its foundation. The hotel was renovated in December 2003 but retains its classic colonial style. It is a harmonious combination of colonial Quito and modern luxuries you will appreciate.

For you comfort, the hotel has an exclusive restaurant 'El Rincón de Cantuña' which specializes in national and Spanish cuisine and classic international dishes, a Tapas Bar 'Marqués de Jerez', Guayasmin lecture room, an artisan shop 'Folklore Olga Fisch, and a Spa. The hotel offers a rich experience in traditional colonial style in an original setting.
