Day 1: Arrival to Lima.

Transportation from Lima airport to your hotel.Overnight in Lima.

Day 2: Market Visit, Fruit Festival, Ceviche Festival, City Tour, Fusion Feast.

In the morning you will enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Start your day with a visit to the Main market to purchase all of the food and ingredients for the class. This market is informal and a great way to experience a little bit of the Peruvian culture in its daily life.In the Main Market you can find the best variety of vegetables and fruits in the country, including exotic products from the 'Andes' and the 'Jungle'. In all Peruvian markets, 'el regateo' is a common practice 'asking for a discount and negotiating the price for the product with each vendor' people even ask for a 'Yapa' something for free with your purchase, one extra lime or one extra potato.You will also have the change to taste many of the exotic fruits that Peru offers. After that you will have a transportation to the Ceviche Festival, the chef will lead you on this day long journey into the famous Peruvian dish, 'Ceviche'. You will follow with an interactive cooking class on how to prepare Ceviche, the Peruvian fish delicacy. And finally, you will enjoy your Ceviche for lunch. Transportation back to the hotel.After that you will enjoy a city tour of Lima with an english speaking guide and entrance tickets.Visit Main Square, Government Palace, Cathedral, San Francisco Monastery and its Catacombs, City Hall, and enjoy a driving tour of beautiful San Isidro and Miraflores. Later you will get a transfer from the hotel to the restaurant. Fusion Feast at Astrid and Gaston, a 7-course tasting menu dinner specially prepared by Gaston Acurio at one of the best restaurant in Lima(wine 'maridaje'is optional).This specatcular dinner will present the Peruvian Food in its class will give you the experience and all the knowledge needed to prepare the best cebiche and all related dishes such as Tiradito and all the seafood combinations.Transportation back to hotel.Overnight in Lima.

Day 3: Basic of Peruvian Cuisine, Museum Tour, Pisco Night and Amazon Dinner.

Spend the morning at Le Corodn Bleu and have the best teaching chefs in Peru introduce you to the quintessential basics of Peruvian Cuisine.The Cordon Bleu Chefs will teach you how to prepare different platters like the ones described below and afterwards you will enjoy a full tasting of the best Peruvian Wines.Demonstration class and lunch will offer an opportunity to taste the many dishes you leraned to prepare during this class.Includes Cooking Set and Recipes.Demonstration class and lunch will offer an opportunity to taste the many dishes you learned to prepare during this class.In this class you will learn, from selecting the ingredients to actually preparing the dishes, this class will teach you the best of the popular local fare.Transportation back to the hotel. Later on enjoy a guided tour to Lima Archaeological Museum, experience the The National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History which houses the Raymondi Stone Slab, the Tello Obelisque, and an outstanding examples of Paracas and Nazca pottery.Finally we have a Huaca Pucllana Tour.Transportation from Lima hotel to restaurant.Pisco Tasting at Malabar Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino will present his new cuisine using jungle ingredients after tasting the most important varieties of Pisco.You will also learn how to make Traditional Pisco Sour, Pisco Sour with Exotic fruits.In this class, our sommelier will teach you about the history of pisco, how is distilled and the 4 varieties of Pisco and the different tastes and uses of each.The Chef will also prepare fusion dishes, which can be served with the piscos to enhance the culinary experience.Each dish will be presented with an explanation as to why that dish should be served with a particular pisco.Overnight in Lima.

Day 4: Trip to Cusco and City Tour-Classic Cusquenian Dinner.

After Breakfast at your hotel you will take a transportation from Lima Hotel to Lima Airport where you will take the flight from Lima to Cuzco.Arriving in Cuzco you will also take a transfer from Cuzco Airport to your Hotel in Cuzco where you will have Lunch. After lunch you will have a City tour of Cuzco, visiting The Cathedral, Kenko, Pucapucara, Tambomachay and Koricancha Temple.Transportation back to the hotel and overnight in Cuzco.

Day 5: Machupicchu Tour.

After breakfast, transportation from Cusco Hotel to Poroy train station, there you will take the train from Poroy to Aguas Calientes with brunch with wine in the way to Aguas Calientes. Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and access ticket to the Lost City of the Incas, guided private tour of Machu Picchu the lost city of the Incas.At the afternoon you'll enjoy tea at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge.Later take a bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes and a Pre Dinner cocktail.Enjoy a 4 couser dinner a la carte with live entertainment.Train from Aguas Calientes to Poroy.Transportation from Poroy train station to Cuzco hotel and overnight.

Day 6: Sacred Valley Tour and Demonstration of Local Vegetables and Sacsayhuaman Tour.

After your buffet breakfast you will take a transportation from Cuzco Hotel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.There you will take a guided private tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas Visit the colorful indian Pisac Market, Ollantaytambo Ruins , Chinchero and Sacsayhuaman including an english speaking guide and a BTG access ticket.Lunch at Hacienda de Huayocari: includes buffet lunch, guided visit to the ranch and vegetables demonstration.In this visit you will learn, touch and taste some of the main vegetables farmed in this area. You will then the various uses of them including the huge varieties of potatoes and Andean vegetables.At 8 o'clock Novoandina dinner at MAP Cafe: The MAP Cafe is located at the Museum de Arte Precolombino (Museum of Pre-Inca art) in Cuzco. Specializing in novoandino cuisine and presenting the use of native ingredients and rescued recipes with innovative dishes. This is a 5-course tasting dinner.In this dinner you enjoy the wonders of the Novoandina cuisine.This cuisine mixes Andean ingredients with modern techniques to create new and inventive dishes. Transportation back to your hotel in Cuzco and overnight.

Day 7: Back to Lima Pachamanca and Peruvian Lonche.

After your buffet breakfast at your hotel you will have a transportation to the airport to take a flight from Cuzco to Lima, once arriving you will take a transfer to your hotel in Lima.Transportation for Pachamanca class and lunch.Pachamanca is a A dry rock-free piece of land is chosen. A pit, one meter in diameter, is dug out. Thoroughly cleaned stones are placed in the pit to cover the bottom, and others are put around it. Firewood is lit in the middle. It must be kept burning for two or three hours. Afterwards, the ashes and coals are brushed aside with a shovel. A lamb or a baby goat (or both), previously seasoned and wrapped in banana leaves filled with stuffed birds, corn on the cob, etc; is set in the middle bed of the pit. Then sweet potatoes, yuccas, potatoes, one or two goat cheeses also wrapped in banana leaves are added; and an air-tight clay pot containing drumsticks, salted rice, peppers and the fat needed to cook can even be placed in with vegetables.This class will give you a hands on class on how to make a Pachamanca. You will learn the basis technique for heating the stones as well as specific times for each ingredient.After that transfer to your hotel and later on transportation to 'La Trattoria Restaurant' has in our opinion the best Dessert selection. Their selection is so extensive and complete that we just could not order for you. The menu includes items from tradicional Peruvian Desserts like 'Suspiro a la Limena' to a 'Tiramisu' A dream for dessert lovers. Sandra Plevisani mixes his experience as a dessert chef with her art background.This night, you will learn how to transform a dessert into beautiful art pieces.The idea of this night is to experience a wide array of desserts and see the varieties that you can create and mix.Transportation back to hotel and overnight.

Day 8: Free morning and Peruvian Brunch and Nikkei Dinner-Back Home.

Breakfast at your hotel, check out.Lunch at a Classic Famous Lima restaurant 'El Rincon Que No Conoces' (The corner restaurant you don?t know).Owned by Teresa Izquierdo, who is been cooking since she was 7.This little place is located off the beaten track but every time you visit the place, you can always spot famous actors, politicians and well-known chefs.Teresa is considered one of the best 'Criolla Food' Chefs.This visit will introduce you to the most popular Peruvian dishes and tastes.All dishes included in this lunch are ones that are always present in the Peruvian households and will give you a framework to understand this cuisine and an introductions to the main ingredients used in Peruvian Cuisine as well as the basics of combinations that are staples in Peruvian food.Transporatation back to hotel to pick up your luggage.You will have dinner at 'Costanera 700' restaurant. You will have an eye opening dinner at the restaurant of the chef who was the first to merge these two amazing food cultures.You will experience the Japanese and Asian influence in the Peruvian Cuisine. Japanese taught Peruvian how to eat fresh fish and the use of seafood and the next generation of Japanese adopted Peruvian ingredients and fusion them with their techniques. The result was a wonderful Cuisine that takes the best of both worlds.
